Student Resume Builder — Education First, Evidence Always
A first resume is not an empty resume. This path through the builder puts your education first, gives projects and coursework the same weight as jobs, and turns part-time and informal work into proper evidence.
How the student path differs
- Education leads. School, qualification, graduation year — plus the coursework and projects relevant to the role, written as bullets with outputs.
- Projects count. Class, club, and personal projects go in the Projects section the studio includes free — a place other builders charge to unlock.
- Informal work counts too. Babysitting, family business help, volunteering: if it happened and someone can confirm it, it is evidence. The no-experience guide shows how to write it.
- Skills are concrete. Software you can use, languages, a driver’s license, a food-handler card — not trait lists.
A first-resume summary that works
“Second-year business student with weekend retail experience and a semester-long budgeting project. Comfortable with Excel and Google Sheets; available evenings and weekends.” Role, evidence, availability — three facts, no apology for being a student.
FAQs
Should my resume be one page?
Yes — and it does not need to fill it. A clean three-quarter page of real evidence beats a padded page.
Can I apply for internships with it?
Yes. Use the target-job step with the internship posting: the match check shows which of its terms your projects and coursework honestly cover.
Is it really free for students?
It is free for everyone, students included — downloads too. No .edu email, no verification, no trial.
